What fun it SNOWED!!!!

Our lab guest had the best time chasing snow flakes and playing hunt and find.  She took her time and found the toy she had tossed into the air buried somewhere in the light fluffy snow. 

 

Our Boarder Collie guest could  wait to get outside!  Once he was out and felt the cold it was Bio-business and back into the warm.  No play time in that “stuff for him. The second --oarder Collie Loved to play catch and nose down through the fluffy stuff.

 

Needless to say the Husky and Eskimo dogs LOVED the weather!

What a fun morning!

2 of our guests were full of play and couldn't get enough!  A black lab puppy and Ruger (cattle dog puppy) couldn't wait to get outside!  They ran and played then stopped - stared at each other....you could almost hear them saying....'I'm not blinking are you blinking, no I'm not going to ever blink again'.  Then the gust of air would go by and end the stare contest .....off to the races they went!

Kaitlynn played ball with one of our border collie (BC) guest until she thought her arm would fall off.  The BC would turn her head to the side every time that she heard the word BALL! 

Everyone came inside to warm-up with treats and blankets.....another BC guest greeted our outside play crew -sniffed the cold air that accomanied their arrival then circled his bed a couple times, crawled in and snuggled down. 

Saturday was a beautiful-"warm"  and sunny for January.  We went outside to play ball and Frisbee!  Our guests Labs and a Lab mix had spring fever.  They ran and chased balls till they were almost worn out...we sure were.  I'm not 100% sure it's possible to wear out a lab.

 

Sunday was rainy and cold...the labs wanted to go outside and run anyway.  They chased the only squirrel that was out.  POOR SQUIRREL.  They decided that they wanted to come in but neither wanted to have their paws wiped....they were muddy.  The day ended with  "cookies" and a warm bed.

 Welcome to our newly renovated website.  A blog is one of our newest additions.  We'll give this a go and see what happens.

We've had so many good humored stories and comments that result from our interactions with dogs and their people that I've decided we can't keep all of this to ourselves.
